Charting a Brighter Flight Path: What the New Executive Orders Mean for you, and for Zeitview

Zeitview’s take on how gradual federal changes can empower safer, smarter flight operations.

At Zeitview, we’ve been closely tracking the latest drone Executive Orders: one focusing on security, the other on innovation. Just two weeks ago, we were in Washington D.C., meeting with key agencies — the FAA, FCC, DOC, DHS, and the White House — to better understand the evolving regulatory landscape.

In these executive orders, we are pleased to see the agencies’ heavy focus on innovation: most notably accelerating the Part 108 beyond-visual-line-of-sight rule. We were also pleased by the measured and gradual approach to drone security; last month, Zeitview was grateful for the opportunity to publicly comment on the Department of Commerce’s BIS policy.

How Zeitview Aligns with this Approach

Zeitview is committed to being a flexible partner as our domestic airspace evolves. Here are a few ways we are aligning with this approach:

  • Multi-modal flexibility
We use the right tool for the job — planes, helicopters, drones, crawlers, cameras, and even smartphones — to capture data efficiently and effectively.

  • Hardware-agnostic support
We work with a wide range of drone platforms, including U.S.-based and Blue UAS options. We’re happy to provide demos, quotes, and proof-of-concept deployments tailored to your needs.

  • Flexible service models
Whether you prefer in-house operations, drone-as-a-service, or a hybrid approach, we’re here to support your preferred model with minimal disruption.

  • BVLOS expertise
With our own National BVLOS waiver in hand, we can help you design and implement advanced remote operations, including drone docks and other scalable solutions.

Supporting a Gradual, Strategic Shift

As U.S. drone capabilities scale over time, we encourage our customers to take the same gradual and balanced approach modeled by federal agencies. While global providers like DJI may continue to offer the most cost-effective and capable solutions in the near term, we welcome the improvement of our national airspace with greater innovation and enhanced security and safety.

As your trusted partner in AI, software, and data capture, Zeitview is here to help you navigate this evolving space, ensuring you have the right tools and strategy to meet your goals.
