COVID-19 Update: How DroneBase Can Help

These are unprecedented times we are currently living in. First and foremost, our thoughts go out to the families, communities, and businesses that have been negatively impacted by the pandemic and resulting lockdowns. We hope everyone stays healthy and can go back to normal life sooner than later.

Amid this uncertainty, we want to assure you that DroneBase is fully operational and here to support your business. That is not just idle talk: in March, and in the past 7-10 days since widespread disruptions occurred, we have completed 99%+ of orders on schedule, with less than 1% of flights cancelled or delayed, across thousands of missions in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe, and many other regions.

Since 2014, we have heavily invested in the software technology infrastructure, 7-day-a-week operations center, and pilot training required to operate drones at national and international scale, during good times and bad. We are built to scale: we have maintained 99% on-time completion while March has been a record month for volume.

Since leaving the military, I’ve believed that drone technology provides a faster, safer, and more reliable solution for enterprises - saving time and money, reducing risk and liability. This is truer now than ever before.

If your workforce is locked down or otherwise unable to complete mission-critical inspections or work, DroneBase can extend your company’s operations in this difficult time. Across your company’s buildings, worksites, and infrastructure, DroneBase can get you key decisions, reports, and analysis about your assets without you ever having to leave your desk (or couch).

DroneBase’s professional pilots are distributed throughout the country and are already located near your most critical assets. Within a couple days, we can capture and deliver high-quality inspections and decisions without requiring anyone to get on a plane, travel excessive distances, or cross borders.

If extensive employee travel and exposure is an increasing concern, DroneBase’s contactless inspection can reduce your company’s risk and liability. Our drone-based inspection requires no face-to-face interaction and can often be completed with minimal exposure to the physical premises and personnel at your building, worksite, or infrastructure.

So if you can’t get work done in the customary way right now, we would love to help you get back in business. Whether you are a current DroneBase customer, have an in-house drone program, or are new to using drone technology, you can count on us to support your business today and in the future. We’re in this together.
